Integrative Medicine and Natural Immunity Boosters for H1N1

Integrative  Immunity  Boosters & the H1 N1 Vaccine. Hippocrates taught that food is our medicine. Since when did medicine become synonymous with drugs rather than the original meaning of “thoughtful action to establish order.” In our  ongoing search for viral immunity do we have to look any farther than our kitchen spice rack or pantry?

I prefer the term integrative medicine to complementary, alternative or holistic medicine  when considering various natural options for the health care of  families, CEO’s and their businesses. … Continue Reading

Soldiers are getting high on DUST-OFF, the massively available deadly cure for war zone stress.

Kids are also huffing to escape stress and just want to get high.

Incredibly, huffers are literally dying to get high and it’s not clear whether they know or even care about the deadly consequences of huffing.

Headache or Liver transplant. What is your preference? Tylenol and the FDA.

What’s wrong with Tylenol? Take too much and you could end up with a liver transplant, if  your “plan” will pay for it.

The FDA has issued Tylenol aka acetaminophen a black penalty box warning.  That means take this warning seriously.

How can such a commonly taken, over the counter medication be just now labeled as unsafe? It has been known for years now that  taking 4 grams daily without alcohol can cause a rise in liver transaminases. That  danger is increased causing more damage to the liver when used in daily dosages higher than 7 grams … Continue Reading

SLEEP: Every Body Craves A Good Nights Sleep

SLEEP: Every Body Craves A Good Nights Sleep

Whoever dreamed up such a weird word for the wonderfully restorative process called sleep. Anyway I am about to begin a series of posts on sleep, covering  such topics as anesthesia and sleep apnea,  medications like melatonin, circadian rhythms,  as well as essential oils and sleep.

Every body craves sleep.

Sleep rejuvenates the body-mind connection. Sleep has very complex neurological, hormonal, and chemical physiology. The sleep hormone melatonin works on GABA receptors. There are
specialists, often pulmonologists, who operate sleep laboratories to determine
if insomnia and other sleep … Continue Reading

Nutritional Awareness: Discover Resversatrol

Nutritional Awareness: Discover Resversatrol

The caloric restriction effect of resveratrol (3,
5,4’-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene) is significant. If you are not drinking wine
for the resveratrol and anthocyanins, then drink a berry fruit juice, such as
white or green tea and blueberry, which can be found combined in some
juice products. Green tea with epigallocathingallate (EGCG) is high in
lignans but low in isoflavonoids, which are polyphenols. Both resveratrol
and allocatechin-gallate, a major antioxidative green tea polyphenol, exert
striking inhibitory effects on diverse cellular events associated with cancer of
the prostate (Sartor, 2004; Stewart, 2003).

Pterostilbene, an active constituent of blueberries and a natural methoxylated analogue of resveratrol, was evaluated for antioxidative … Continue Reading
